What to expect

Pre-K to 4th Grade – ½ Day
  • Arrival time 7:45am (This gives us 15 minutes to make introductions and to get prospective student situated)
  • Classes and meeting with teachers for short screenings
  • Eat snack 10:20 am
  • Dismissal 11:00 am

*Please Note:  The schedule for screening is different from what is listed above.  During pre-kindergarten and kindergarten screenings, prospective students spend time together at classroom stations and in established activities while parents participate in a tour of the building with the Head of School.  Prospective students are screened individually with teachers, determining readiness using tools designed specifically for early- childhood assessment.

5th to 8th Grade – Full day

  • More classes and meeting with teachers for short screenings
  • Dismissal time 3:00 pm

*Please Note:  During the established screening dates for Pre-K and K (April and February/March, respectively), the checklist below is not applicable.

  • Parent Assessment of Applicant
  • Parent Questionnaire
  • Association of Independent Schools in New England Student Evaluation, completed by current teacher or school director
  • Snack
2nd to 5th Grade
  • Parent Questionnaire
  • Association of Independent Schools in New England Student Evaluation, completed by current teacher or school director
  • Snack
  • Paper/pen to take notes during your day
  • Lunch (PLEASE NOTE: 5th GRADE ONLY)
6th to 8th Grade
  • Parent Questionnaire
  • Student Questionnaire
  • English Recommendation, completed by current teacher or school director
  • Math Recommendation, completed by current teacher or school director
  • Snack
  • Paper/pen to take notes during your day
  • Lunch
