March 3, 2008

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff and students, I welcome you to Bishop John A. Marshall School. The academic year of 2007-2008 marks our 10th year serving children and families who have chosen to pursue an educational experience unlike any other in our area. The mission of Bishop John A. Marshall School as stated above is to educate children to form moral, thoughtful, caring, Christian citizens and inspire them to achieve academic excellence. This mission drives everything we endeavor to accomplish and we are exceedingly proud of the advances our school has made over the past decade.

From our humble beginnings at the Holy Cross Parish hall in Morrisville, Vermont to our beautiful facility in which we educate children from grades Pre-K through 8, the presence of the Holy Spirit has guided us. The current Board of Trustees is committed to continue the great works of those who came before us and to leave a strong and lasting legacy for those yet to come.

Bishop John A. Marshall School is extremely blessed to have what we believe is the finest collection of educational professionals to comprise our faculty. It is through the caring and dedication of this uniquely special group that the students of our school continually score among the highest percentile on nationally normed standardized tests and continuously welcome every academic challenge set before them. Our students are leaders in the community, role models for their peers and find themselves very well prepared for the challenges facing them as they matriculate into high school.

Our school is also a community in which parents, grandparents, friends and neighbors all play an important role in the success of our students. We welcome visitors for our weekly Masses, as we are blessed for the support of our surrounding parish priests as well as that of our friends at the Diocese of Burlington.

As we cross the threshold into the beginning of our second decade, the possibilities are endless for Bishop John A. Marshall School. May the strength, power and glory of the Holy Spirit continue to bless and guide our school leaving us thankful for all the Lord has provided.

I welcome you to visit our campus in Morrisville, Vermont to see the Holy Spirit at work in the hearts, minds and hands of our student s .

God bless,
