It is hard to believe that this year will mark my tenth year at BJAMS! I have often been asked why I became a teacher and the answer to that question is simple, I love school. I have always loved school from nursery school to college. I love learning and believe that while our students look to us to teach them we can learn from them as well.
A true Vermonter I am not, but a true lover of the Philadelphia Eagles I am! I was born in New Jersey (and very proud of it!) as the third of five kids. I lived there until my parents decided to move the whole family to Vermont. What a great choice they made! Vermont is a great place to live and raise a family. After graduating from Lamoille Union High School I attended the University of Vermont where I received a BA in History. After taking a couple of years off from school, I returned to school at Johnson State College where I received a BA in English and a Masters in Education.
My husband, AJ, and I along with our two energetic kids, Ava and Cole, 2 dogs, a hedgehog and a rabbit live in an old mill that we are renovating! As you can imagine that keeps us super busy!
